Hello everyone,

After careful consideration, we have made the decision to indefinitely delay EclipseMC's release date. Although we only have a small community, we are aware that there are players who were expecting us to launch next month, however with our current state of development that isn't possible.

Right now, we are having issues with balancing our time between server development and other activities outside of development. As our team is currently extremely small, it is impossible for us to currently deliver the quality we want to deliver and that is expected of us, as we simply do not have the manpower to make this possible. The idea that we'd release the server in a state that was unfinished and not up to the standards that we promised wasn't an option to us, so it was clear that we have to delay the release date to uphold this promise.

As it stands, we cannot yet promise a release date. Development is coming along at a steady pace, however there's a significant amount that we have to develop in order to deliver the best possible experience that we can launch with. We will provide updates over the coming months in our Discord so that players can follow along our development journey and be updated on our plans for a release date.

Despite not having a release date, we can still promise to our players that we will deliver the best Factions experience possible when the time comes. We are developing things that are completely new to the gamemode and our ultimate goal is to revive the mode and restore the thriving community that used to exist. We are extremely passionate about the server and Factions and we will not let that passion fade.

We are deeply sorry to our players who were expecting a server in June, however we hope you can understand our situation.
